Weather permitting, 4th of December, we will once again meet Santa down at the beach, where you say?, Airlie Beach Foreshore, at the markets rotunda. An all afternoon event is being planned in conjunction with the PCYC, come along and enjoy some free entertainment from 2pm. Blow up obstacle course, face painting, flora and fauna, fairies, telstra texting comps, apple bobbing, sack races, donuts, candy floss and much more. The annual Pride of Workmanship awards were held last night at the Reef Gateway Hotel by the Rotary Club of Airlie Beach.

known as the Oceanic Whitsunday Boat & Leisure Show, our
regional Whitsunday Boat & Lifestyle show is back on the
10th and 11th of September 2011 Featuring a great on the
water display, hardstand and exhibitor hall, the show will
also include a great program of activities including the Sunday
seafood festival. Now located at the Port of Airlie marina,
the great new location puts us closer to town, makes it more
convienent to attend. With exhibitors from local, region and
Southern centres, the show will attract a diverse range of
patronage from cruising, yacht racers, fishermen, and visitors
from Mackay, Townsville and surrounding mining communities.
